1. Introduction

Welcome to our Sports Venue Booking Platform ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform that connects sports venue providers with customers seeking to book sports facilities, coaches, and participate in community events.

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Platform.

2. Definitions

"Platform" - Our sports venue booking website and mobile application
"Provider" - Sports venue owners, facility managers, or coaches offering services
"Customer/User" - Individuals or groups booking venues or services
"Booking" - A confirmed reservation for a venue, coach, or event
"Community" - User groups organized around specific sports or interests

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use certain features of our Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Platform Services

4.1 Venue Bookings

Our Platform facilitates bookings for sports venues including fields, courts, gyms, and other facilities. We act as an intermediary between Providers and Customers.

4.2 Coach Services

Qualified coaches offer training services through our Platform. All coach credentials are verified, but customers are responsible for evaluating suitability for their needs.

4.3 Community Events

Users can create and join sports communities, organize events, and participate in group activities. Community guidelines must be followed at all times.

5. Booking Terms and Conditions

5.1 Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received and processed. You will receive a booking confirmation via email.

5.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before booking: Full refund minus processing fee
  • Cancellations made 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before: No refund
  • No-shows: No refund

5.3 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 12 hours before the original booking time, subject to venue availability and provider approval.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our integrated payment system. We accept major credit cards, digital wallets, and bank transfers.

6.2 Platform Fees

The Platform charges a service fee for each booking. All fees are clearly displayed before payment confirmation.

6.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

7. User Responsibilities

7.1 Facility Usage

  • Use facilities only during booked time slots
  • Follow all facility rules and safety guidelines
  • Report any damages or incidents immediately
  • Respect other users and facility staff

7.2 Equipment and Safety

Users are responsible for their own safety and equipment. Appropriate sports attire and protective gear are required as per facility guidelines.

7.3 Community Guidelines

Maintain respectful behavior in all interactions. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will result in account suspension or termination.

8. Provider Responsibilities

8.1 Facility Standards

Providers must maintain facilities in safe, clean condition and ensure all equipment meets safety standards.

8.2 Availability and Accuracy

Providers must keep availability calendars updated and provide accurate descriptions of facilities and services.

8.3 Professional Conduct

Maintain professional standards in all customer interactions and comply with local regulations and licensing requirements.

9. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Using the Platform for illegal activities
  • Posting false or misleading information
  • Attempting to circumvent payment systems
  • Harassing or threatening other users
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications

10. Liability and Insurance

10.1 Platform Liability

The Platform acts as an intermediary only. We are not liable for actions, services, or conduct of Providers or Customers.

10.2 User Insurance

Users are strongly advised to maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage. The Platform does not provide insurance coverage for activities or injuries.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Users grant us a license to use content they post on the Platform for operational and promotional purposes.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violation of these Terms, illegal activities, or at our sole discretion.

Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting customer support. Active bookings and obligations remain valid after termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
